For a finer grind, turn clockwise; for a coarser grind, turn counter-clockwise.
For optimal performance, CrushGrind mills should be cleaned regularly. They are not dishwasher safe.
There are three ways to clean CrushGrind mills. Brush cleaning: unscrew the adjustment wheel and remove the ceramic cone. Use a stiff brush to clean both the grinding section and the cone. Water cleaning: if necessary, place the ceramic cone in warm water to dissolve any remaining deposits. Before reassembling and using the mill again, make sure all ceramic parts are completely dry — allow them to dry for at least 24 hours. Salt cleaning: if you want to use the mill for a different spice, first grind a small amount of coarse salt. This helps remove traces of the previous spice and clean the ceramic components.
The Danish brand CRUSHGRIND combines the aesthetics of Nordic design traditions with thoughtful functionality and innovative solutions. Founded in 1994, the brand became known for its durable ceramic grinding mechanisms, suitable not only for pepper but also for salt and a variety of dried spices. Unlike metal mechanisms, ceramic does not corrode. Over time, CRUSHGRIND has expanded its range to include a variety of mills and other kitchen accessories that combine practicality with contemporary design. The brand places particular emphasis on durable, responsibly sourced materials and on promoting fair working practices in collaboration with its partners.
