Terms and Conditions

SIA Egle un Kalns, registration Nr.40103630738 located at Pilsoņu iela 2, Līgatne, Cēsu nov, Latvija (hereinafter Pavāru māja) is the owner of www.pavarumaja.lv and ensure gift card purchases according to these Terms and Conditions.

General Provisions

By accessing any section of the Pavāru māja website, you agree to the Pavāru māja's Privacy Policy.

If the consumer purchases products through the website, then such mutual agreement is considered a Distance Contract and is subject to the legal norms of the Republic of Latvia governing the distance contract, including, but not limited to, the Law of the Republic of Latvia Regulations of the Cabinet of Ministers “Regulations on Distance Contracts” etc.

By purchasing the products, you (hereinafter the buyer) confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions.

Placing an order

Gift card

The specification of the product sold by Pavāru māja - a gift card - and the choice of the amount are indicated next to the product. All prices are in euros (€).

To place an order, select the gift card amount and click 'Next'. Fill in all required fields. Make a payment to complete the order and receive your gift card electronically at the email address provided.

Online store

To make an order, please choose a product from the offer and click the 'Buy'. Choose the amount of product and click the 'Add to cart' button. If the order is completed you go to order summary by clicking on cart icon or “Go to cart”. Click 'Place order' and fill in all the information windows for an invoice and delivery. Choose the delivery type and make a purchase to finish the order. 

All information about a product is indicated next to the specific product. All prices are in euros (€).



Payment terms

Purchase can be paid securely via the following payment methods provided by Maksekeskus AS: Latvian bank links: Swedbank, SEB, Citadele and Luminor and Visa / MasterCard credit card payments.

NB! When using a bank link payment confirm the order and then click on the 'Return to merchant' button.

The contract enters into force when the amount payable is transferred to the bank account of the online store.

If we cannot deliver the ordered goods due to stock running out or for any other reason, the purchaser will be informed as soon as possible and the money paid (including the shipping cost) will be refunded promptly, but no later than within 14 days of receiving the notification.

Shipment terms

The purchased gift card is delivered electronically, sent to the specified e-mail address within 24 hours.

Online store products are shipped by Omniva courier to your doorstep. Shipping costs are shown before completing the order. Order will be delivered according to the specified information within 1-3 business days. In Christmas time delivery may take longer time (1- 5 days).

Products are also available to pick up within 1-3 business days at Pavāru māja in Pilsoņu iela 2, Līgatne for free of charge (from Friday to Sunday) or in Riga, Stabu iela 14 (Ramen Riga bistro).

Right of withdrawal

After receiving the order, the purchaser has the right to withdraw from the contract entered into with the e-store within 10 days .The right of withdrawal does not apply if the purchaser is a legal person. To exercise the 10-day right of withdrawal, the packaging of the product must not be open or visually damaged. 

To return the goods, you must submit a declaration of withdrawal (in a free form) to the e-mail address within 10 days of receiving the goods. The purchaser shall bear the cost of returning the goods, except in cases where the reason for the return lies in the fact that a refundable product does not comply with the order (e.g. a wrong or defective product).

The purchaser must return the goods within 10 days of the submission of the declaration of withdrawal or submit evidence that they handed over the goods to the carrier within the aforementioned period.

Upon receiving the returned goods, the online store shall return to the purchaser, immediately but no later than after 10 days, all of the payments received from the purchaser based on the contract.

The online store has the right to refuse to make a refund until the goods being returned are received or until the buyer has provided proof of returning the products, whichever occurs first.

You have lost the rights to withdraw if you have open the packaging of the product or if you haven't declared the proposition of withdrawal in 10 days after receiving the order.

Consumer rights for non-compliant goods

Pavāru māja is responsible for the non-compliance of the product sold to the Buyer with the terms of the contract or defects of the product. 

The Buyer must inform the Seller about the non-conformity of the product immediately, i.e. submit a complaint, writing to .

Pavāru māja online store is not liable for any defects arising after delivering the goods to the purchaser.

If goods bought from the online store have defects for which the online store is responsible, the online store will replace the defective goods. If the goods cannot be repaired or replaced, the online store shall return to the purchaser all of the payments involved in the contract of sale.

The online store will respond to the consumer ́s complaint in written form or in a form that enables written reproduction within 10 days.

Processing of personal data

Pavāru māja processes only the personal data that the buyer has entered when purchasing the product, such as name, surname, e-mail, phone number and adress, for legal entities - company name, registration number, address, etc.

If you have signed up for our newsletter by e-mail, we will contact you no more than once a month with information about our services and the latest offers. For this purpose, we will process the e-mail address you provided when you signed up for the newsletter. You have the opportunity to unsubscribe from the newsletter by e-mail, notifying us by writing to

Settlement of disputes

All complaints made by a purchaser about the online store must be e-mailed to or submitted by calling on the phone.

If the purchaser and the online store are not able to settle the dispute by agreement, the purchaser may contact the Consumer Dispute Committee. The Consumer Dispute Committee is competent to resolve disputes arising from a contract between a purchaser and the online store. The resolution of disputes by the Consumer Dispute Committee is free of charge for the purchaser. The purchaser may also turn to the dispute resolution bodies of the European Union.

Pavāru mājas has the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any given time at its sole discretion.
